We need help! NHELC Loaves & Fishes is Feeding the Homeless and those in Need

Every month on the second Tuesday we are feeding the homeless and those in need in our area. If you can put a piece of food onto a plate, or serve a plate, or greet someone, or help sing a hymn or two, we could use your help. Each month on the second Tuesday at 5:30 PM at Emmanuel Lutheran church located in Pottstown, NHELC Fishes & Loaves are serving meals to the homeless and those in need.

The Food Ministry is “Thriventing”

As we continue our mission of feeding the hungry, we have been inundated with an influx of generous Thrivent Action donations. We ask if you have access to this benefit, please take advantage of it, as our numbers have risen to 140 people served.  We can definitely use any help we can get.

As of October 2022, we have served over 100,00 meals.  The Food Ministry is focusing every day on meeting  this need. We cannot without you. All donations of time and/or money will help us accomplish our mission. We are all in this together, let us make a difference.

Thank you to all that have given to date, we truly appreciate your generous gifts!  Let’s make this an exceptional year and continue making a difference in people’s lives.  New Hanover Evangelical Lutheran Church and our Food Ministry is on a mission from God.

Peace, Chris
