Disposition of Parsonage, Congregation Votes!

A Special Congregational Meeting of the New Hanover Evangelical Lutheran Church was called to order by Council President Bill Eddinger on Sunday, October 29th 2006. This meeting spanned all three worship services. The agenda for the meeting was to vote on the subdivision and sale of the parsonage.

The results of the vote were 159 in favor and 63 not in favor the subdivision and sale of the parsonage.

The Council will create an Ad Hoc Committee to look at the utilization of the funds resulting from the sale of the parsonage. Any congregational member over the age of 18 is welcome to participate on this Committee.
